Continuing Education for Alabama Adjusters

Create your own custom continuing education curriculum

At AE21, we recognize that every adjuster’s CE needs are different at any given time. This is why we allow you to create your own curriculum by choosing exactly the number of hours you need and covering the topics that interest you most.

By offering all of our courses at a low per-hour rate, you can choose to purchase one course at a time, working your way through your compliance period or purchase them all at once. Either way you choose, you will always receive the lowest possible price. For Alabama CE pricing, please refer to the FAQ’s below.

To purchase CE courses, begin by heading over to our state-of-the-art eLearning system and logging in or creating an account. By selecting Alabama as your state of licensure, the system will know to show you only the catalogs that are applicable to you. You can explore our available course offerings by clicking the button below. The short video to the left will show you just how easy it is to get started when you are ready.

CE registration is done through our state-of-the-art eLearning system. You can log-in or register your account HERE.

By entering Alabama as your licensing state during registration, the system will present you with a customized dashboard that will contain the Alabama course catalogs as well as important links for Alabama adjusters. Our CE courses are priced at a low per-hour rate of $5.50 per credit hour, plus the state-mandated reporting fee, allowing you to order as few or as many courses as you need at our lowest possible price. Alabama charges a $1 per hour reporting fee.

Therefore, course pricing is as follows:

  • 1 hour: $6.50
  • 2 hours: $13.00
  • 3 hours: $19.50
  • ...and so on.
All CE courses come with an access period of one year.

Our extension policy for CE courses is as follows:

  • A complimentary one-time 60-day extension will be provided for expired CE courses if the extension is requested within 60 days of the course expiration (8 months after initial enrollment)
  • If the first extension request is not made within 60 days following the course expiration, a fee equal to 25% of the total original cost of all expired CE courses requiring extension will be charged per 30 days.
  • Absolutely no extensions will be granted beyond 18 months following the original enrollment date.
Pursuant to state rules, all online CE courses do contain a final exam. But don't worry! Our "reinforced learning" format will ensure that you are completely prepared and you will have unlimited attempts to achieve a passing score.

Important! Alabama requires that course exams be proctored by a disinterested third party. You and the proctor will be required to complete an electronic affidavit immediately following completion of the exam to attest that you completed the exam without assistance or outside help of any kind, including study material.

Your exam proctor must:
  • NOT be a relative
  • NOT be your immediate supervisor
  • NOT be your employee
  • Not be concerned, with respect to possible gain or loss, in the result of your final exam.
This is one of the great things about taking your CE online! You do NOT have to take your course all in one sitting. You can do a little here and a little there... the system will remember where you left off. The courses are also self-paced and are not timed. Only the (short) exam must be completed in one sitting.
We will take care of all reporting for you. CE credits are reported within 1-3 business days following the completion of a course and submission of your monitor affidavit.

Make sure that the adjuster license number and NPN number listed in your eLearning system profile are correct and that the name on your profile reflects your name as stated on your adjuster's license.

The state gives CE providers 10 days following the completion of a course to submit the credits, regardless of the date that a licensee's compliance period ends. However, our policy is to have credits reported in 1-3 business days following the completion date. As long as you complete your courses by 11:59pm on the last day of your compliance period, you will remain in good standing. Be sure that the timezone reflected in your eLearning profile is correct for accurate time reporting (the system is set to Eastern time by default).
Alabama adjusters must complete 24 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years. 3 hours must be dedicated to the subject of Ethics.
As of January 1, 2013, excess credit hours earned in a biennial renewal period cannot be carried over to the next reporting period. Any excess hours are lost.
Credit will not be accepted for any approved course more than once in any reporting period.
